Deep down, my maternal instinct told me that until I heard the truth from a specialist, I would carry this longing for the rest of my life.

I had already faced very difficult times— in 2011, I had an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in the removal of one fallopian tube, and in 2014, a second ectopic pregnancy led to the removal of the other tube. Yet, I never gave up hope.

After a consultation with a doctor who explained all the options, along with the pros and cons, I left the clinic not disappointed by a definitive “no,” but filled with emotions and an even stronger desire to have a baby. I can’t describe how my heart raced with happiness at the tiny spark of hope I still felt.

We knew there would be many important tests ahead that could complicate everything. But we were determined to give it our all, even knowing the risks and the possibility of negative results. No one can truly prepare you for the deep disappointment and sense of failure when things don’t work out.

We didn’t give up. With the immense support, care, and professionalism of the entire team of doctors and nurses, we continued the fight. After the third transfer on November 25, 2024, I finally saw the first positive pregnancy test—and for the first time, we watched our little star appear on the ultrasound. Tears of joy streamed down our faces—we could hardly believe it.
