Here at Repromeda, we cultivate embryos in the MIRI Time-Lapse Incubator, which offers your embryos the best care, comfort and their own space – a separate chamber – for cultivation. Each couple’s embryos are therefore cultivated separately in one of 12 separate heated chambers. This device allows you to regulate the oxygen level, so in these chambers your embryos will feel as if they are already in your body.
What makes this machine so unique?
The MIRI TL Incubator offers all the parameters and features you could wish for in an incubator. It can assess the potential, quality, and dynamics of embryo development and also detect if something is wrong with the embryos – cell division disorders, fragmentation, and more. With this device, the growth and development of embryos can be monitored throughout the cultivation process. This device enables us to select the best quality embryo for transfer to the uterus and thus significantly increase a woman’s chances of pregnancy. The use of the Incubator is not limited in any way, so every embryo can be cultivated and monitored.
The microscope is no longer needed.
This new system allows time-lapse monitoring, i.e. the continuous monitoring of the development of the embryo. Embryos can therefore be monitored by camera throughout the cultivation process. Since no microscope inspection is required, the cultivation conditions are not disrupted. The temperature and the composition of the atmosphere remain constant throughout the embryo cultivation process.
