Currently, we use the Karyomapping method. The examination is thus suitable for all monogenic disorders and for hereditary cancer syndromes.

PGT-SR: structural chromosome defects

PGT of translocations is suitable for couples where one or both partners are carriers of a balanced translocation or other structural chromosomal abnormalities.

PGT-A: aneuploidy

Pre-implantation genetic testing of aneuploidies is conducted during IVF treatment. It increases treatment success by allowing us to select the most promising embryo.

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is a technique that allows the selection of so-called “healthy” embryos without a specific genetic load prior to their transfer to the uterus. Our clinic has been specializing in pre-implantation genetics since 2000, when we became the first clinic in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe where PGT was successfully performed. We were also the first in Central Europe to introduce the ground-breaking Karyomapping method and, more recently, we have been using Next generation sequencing (NGS).

Since 2004, we have performed PGT for 91 different monogenic diseases. Of all the assisted reproduction centres in the Czech Republic, we have the longest experience, which we always try to connect with the wishes and ideas of our clients.
